This is a Ruger SR1911 Lightweight Commander chambered in the .45 ACP cartridge.
I bought this gun in March, 2019 on Gunbroker.com from a dealer in Illinois who had done some work to it and it and then it was only test fired by him.
It was advertised on Gunbroker as having:
Heinie night sights (see photos of sights and receipt),
Storm Lake match barrel and bushing (see photo of Storm Lake logo on barrel hood),
Wilson Combat stainless Commander style hammer (shown in several photos),
Smith & Alexander arched mainspring housing (shown in a few photos but I replaced it with a straight one),
Colt thumb safety (see photos),
Wilson Combat hard sear and disconnector (as he was truthful about previous enhancements, I have no reason to doubt that is has those items).
Besides the Ruger factory grips it also comes with a nice set of checkered laminated grips.
Includes two eight round stainless mags.
Box but no paperwork.
I shot it some when I first bought it but it’s been years since I last shot it so I’ve decided to sell it.
It has a very nice trigger pull slightly over four pounds.
Buyer must be a Tennessee resident willing to verify that by showing your driver’s license and not otherwise prohibited from purchasing a handgun.
Transfer will be in the Marshall County Sherriff’s parking lot during the day hours.
Current MSRP of the pistol is $1,279.
Unlike current production models this SR1911 LWC has a grooved front strap for better grip under recoil.
