Colt Golden Spike Commemorative Revolver
Vintage Never Fired 1969 Colt Frontier Scout "Golden Spike" .22 LR. These were a limited run of 11,000 for the year of 1969. Marking the centennial of the Central Pacific and Union Pacific Railroad companies railheads finally meeting and driving of the last railroad spike at Promontory Point, Utah on May 10, 1869.
6" Barrel Single Action colt Hartford address in gilt on top of the barrel. Left side of barrel marked Colt single action frontier scout .22LR in gilt. Right side of barrel marked 1869-Golden Spike-1969 in gilt. Left side of frame is marked with rampant Colt logo in gilt. The backstrap has simple scroll engraving. Blue finish on the barrel, frame, backstrap, and trigger guard. Gold-plated ejector, six-shot fluted cylinder, hammer, and trigger. Faux wood grips with the gold medallion rampant colt logo at the top of each side. Comes in commemorative box with a gold plated railroad spike marked "1869-Golden Spike-1969"
